Update: Crafty-Nook has closed, but you can still find Susan in the Market Hall now running coffee and tea stall Bean to Brew instead.
It was lovely to visit the reopened Durham Market Hall yesterday, where there are lots of traders keen to welcome back shoppers, alongside plenty of well-organised safety measures – including greeters from the Markets team, and hand sanitiser provided by City of Durham Parish Council.
We paid a visit to see Susan from Crafty-Nook, whose long-established stall is a treasure trove for anyone looking for cardmaking materials and accessories.
Susan also stocks a lovely range of interesting Durham and North East themed gifts, including coasters, mugs, fridge magnets and more.
Visit the Crafty-Nook website at https://crafty-nook.co.uk/ for more details about the shop as well as Susan’s cardcraft classes, and be sure to give the Facebook page a like at https://www.facebook.com/pg/Crafty-Nook-109346184006022/.
In the coming months, we’ll be showcasing various local retailers that we work with as our “cover stars” on Facebook and Twitter!
So, if you’d like a chance to appear, be sure to apply to get involved in Indie Durham City.
