After featuring Miles at BookWyrm last time, we’re staying inside the wonderful Durham Market Hall for our next Indie Durham City cover star – Ann at dancewear specialist Real Fancy!
Real Fancy relocated into Durham Market Hall in late 2021, after previously trading in Chester-le-Street, and since moving to Durham has been successfully growing its already well-established following among the dance community.
Blink and you’ll miss Real Fancy’s tiny but well-stocked shop! Occupying stall 65 in the Market Hall, you can find Real Fancy towards the right-hand side as you enter from the Market Place, close to past cover star Health Barn.
Whether your interest is ballet, tap, ballroom or even gymnastics, Ann stocks a wide range of kit including dance shoes, tights, leotards, dance bags, tutus and accessories. If what you want isn’t in stock right away, Ann can often order it in for you.
The shop is currently open from 10am to 4pm on Fridays and Saturdays only – call in then for a professional and friendly service, or if you drop Ann a message via the Real Fancy Facebook page she will be more than happy to help.
